We’re so excited to see you at Cheekbone Beauty’s For Future Generations Pop Up, taking place on September 30th from 4–7PM at CELI (753 Queen Street West, Toronto).
This one-day event is all about connection, community, and supporting the future of Indigenous youth.
Every Cheekbone purchase at this pop up helps fund our For Future Generations Indigenous Youth Scholarship Fund, created in honor of our founder Jenn Harper’s grandmother, Emily Paul.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
Live Performances by Ashley Ghostkeeper

Alberta’s Ashley Ghostkeeper is a Métis-Cree artist, deeply connected to music and storytelling. Growing up in a talented family, early inspiration with her Aunty and Grandpa strumming guitars in their Red Deer home, ignited Ashley’s crafting of melodies, while dreaming of big stage performances.
Believing in music as a means of healing and self-liberation, Ashley’s songs are featured on major playlists, garnered three #1 hits on “Canadian Top Indigenous Music Countdown,” and a #5 spot on the “Canadian Top 40 Indigenous Music Countdown.”
Recognized with consecutive nominations for Calgary YYC Indigenous Artist of the Year (2024, 2025), Solo Artist Of The Year, Songwriter Of The Year, Single Of The Year, Country Recording Of The Year (all, 2025), Country Music Alberta Fan’s Choice (2023, 2024, 2025) and Horizon Female Artist of the Year (2024) reflects Ashley’s determination.
Meet & Greet with AFC Toronto:

Ashley Cathro
A high achiever both on and off the pitch, Cathro is passionate about public health, academic research, and empowering women in sport. She is the first author on a peer-reviewed academic journal publication, a skilled cook, and a visible example of how excellence in academics and athletics can go hand-in-hand.

Aoi Kizaki
Represented Japan at the U-19 and U-20 levels. Competed in AFC youth competitions and development tournaments as part of Japan’s next generation of international talent.
A standout in Japan’s elite youth football system, Kizaki rose through the ranks of Urawa’s academy setup before making her senior debut.

Jade Kovacevic
A vocal advocate for women’s soccer in Canada, Kovacevic has long championed the creation of a domestic pro league. Her signing with AFC Toronto is a full-circle moment — not only breaking ground as the club’s first player but helping blaze a trail for the next generation. Off the pitch, Kovacevic runs her own coaching business, J9 Soccer, where she helps develop the next generation of players through personalized training and mentorship.

Sonia Walk
Walk makes her professional debut with AFC Toronto following a remarkable return-to-play journey after undergoing both hip surgery and an ACL repair. A composed and versatile player, she brings experience at the international level and a strong understanding of the game developed through years of high-performance play.

Hong Hye-Ji
Hong Hye Ji’s known for her quiet leadership, intense discipline, and dedication to continuous growth. She joins AFC Toronto with the ambition to raise standards, compete for silverware, and represent South Korean football on a new stage.
