Loved the experience and the products
"This was my introduction to Cheekbone Beauty -- I had heard of the brand before, but it was when I was searching for advent calendars in January (yes, I know!) that I stumbled across this one. It doesn't have to be a calendar or a countdown to anything, but it can be if you want it to be. The products included in it are really versatile, and are really "basic" products. I opened the package in February, and I've used everything in the box several times since then (several of them coming with me as "must haves" on vacation!). I love that there was the clear intention to make sure all products were useful for all skin tones (there may be 1 product that isn't as great on darker skin tones than mine. . . it might be a kind of Uncanny Valley too-similar look). One specific product was never something I would have bought for myself, and it was a bit. . . scary(?). . . to use it, but I ended up having great fun with it and got compliments on it all day. I guess I should learn to be more fearless (hint hint). I think this box is a great introduction to Cheekbone, with such a wide variety of products in really wearable shades. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone wanting to try out the brand! It really is "the best of the best", including the best shades (biased opinion. . . ) of some of the most popular products. I also love how cheery and bright the packaging is! I hope this is brought back in future years, and I think it would also make a really great gift for someone."
