- Are all the materials used in each pencil compostable with cap and all? And are the pencil shavings with the outer paint coating compostable as well?
- Hello - the cap is recyclable, not biodegradable. Pencil shavings for our makeup pencils as well as a regular pencil, for example a yellow #2 pencil, are compostable due to the coating materials and the small percentage of them that are in every shaving. Hope this helps!
