We Do Business Differently.
"Sustainability" is often defined as the ability to produce a product or service that meets the needs of today without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. The concept is often composed of three pillars: economic, environmental, and social – informally known as profits, planet, and people.
We strive to go even beyond this by forming our sustainability initiatives with the Two-Eyed Seeing approach, an Indigenous concept that combines the strengths, wisdom, and knowings of both Western Culture and Indigenous Wisdom to make the greatest positive impact on people and our planet.
In addition, we honour and practice the 7th Generation Principle derived by the Iroquois People to not only leave enough for the next generation, but to leave enough for our children in the next seven generations.
