Products & Ingredients


Are all your products vegan?

Yes! All Cheekbone Beauty products are 100% vegan.


Do you use any harsh chemicals in your products?

No. Our formulations are made with up to 98% naturally derived ingredients. We carefully select each ingredient to balance performance, safety, and sustainability. We use plant-based, non-toxic ingredients, eco-conscious packaging, and ethical sourcing whenever possible.


What do you mean by “clean” beauty?

At Cheekbone Beauty, we go beyond traditional “clean beauty” standards.
Our approach is guided by our Indigenous-led Biinad Beauty Standards, which consider not only ingredient safety for people, but also how those ingredients interact with the environment.


While many “clean” beauty standards focus primarily on human health, we take a more holistic approach — choosing ingredients that are non-toxic, thoughtfully sourced, and designed to biodegrade back into the environment whenever possible.


For us, “clean” isn’t just about what we leave out — it’s about creating products that are safe, intentional, and aligned with both people and the planet.


Are your products environmentally friendly?

Sustainability is at the core of everything we do at Cheekbone Beauty. From eco-conscious packaging to responsible sourcing and ingredient choices, Our approach to sustainability includes both Western and Indigenous perspectives, to make the most positive impact on people and the planet. We are always considering how what we create today will impact generations to come.


We’re also proud to be a certified B Corp, meaning we meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. In 2022, we committed to producing a report each year that highlights our sustainability performance, including areas where we can improve and future goals. 


Do you test on animals?

Never. We are proudly cruelty-free and only work with suppliers who share this commitment.


Are your products safe for sensitive skin or eyes?

While our products are designed to be gentle, everyone’s skin is unique. We recommend reviewing ingredient lists and doing a patch test if you have sensitivities. If you have specific concerns, feel free to reach out. We’re happy to help.


Are your products gluten-free?

We do not use gluten-containing ingredients, but we cannot guarantee our products are made in a certified allergen-free facility. Full ingredient lists are available on each product page.


Will my product melt, freeze, or expire?

Extreme temperatures may temporarily affect texture during transit, but this won’t impact performance once the product returns to room temperature.


We recommend using products within 2 years of manufacture and following the PAO symbol on packaging.


You’re out of stock of one of my favourite products! When will it be coming back?

If you notice a product on our site is out of stock, the best way to keep up to date with a restock is to go to the products page and click “NOTIFY ME”. Then we can send you an email as soon as we have it back! Alternatively, you can tune in to our socials for updates on restocks and new product launches.




Orders & Payments


When will my credit card be charged?

Your card is charged once your order has been accepted and processed.


What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and AfterPay.


How can I make changes to my order?

If you need to update your order — for example, changing your shipping address or adding/removing products — please reach out to us at info@cheekbonebeauty.com as soon as possible.


Once an order has been fulfilled and shipped from our warehouse, we’re unfortunately unable to make any changes, so contacting us quickly is the best way to ensure we can help.

 



Shipping


When will my order arrive?

Most Canadian and U.S. orders arrive within 3–10 business days depending on location. 
Please note that delays can occur due to weather, carrier issues, or customs processing.


My order has shipped. Where is it?

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link so you can follow your package’s journey.


If you don’t see it, please check your spam or junk folder, as it can occasionally end up there.

*PLEASE NOTE: We do not have visibility into the progress of your package once it has left our warehouse. If there are any issues with the delivery of your order, please reach out and let us know right away so we can fix it.

 



Returns & Exchanges


What is your return policy?

•    Unused, regular-priced products: Return within 14 days
•    Exchanges: Accepted within 30 days
•    Used products: Exchange only within 14 days
•    Sale items: Final sale


Refunds are issued to the original form of payment. Shipping charges are non-refundable.


Please note:
•    Items that have already been exchanged are not eligible for a refund
•    Requests outside our timelines require the customer to cover shipping

Promotions, Discounts & Rewards


Can I apply a discount code after placing my order?

Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be added or adjusted afterward.


Why isn’t my item discounting?

Some items are excluded from promotions and do not apply to certain discount codes including:


•    Bundles, kits, duos, trios
•    Perfectly Imperfect products
•    New launches within 90 days (or time of our discretion) 
•    Sale items
•    Gift cards


These are already offered at a special value.


Can I stack discounts?

Discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.


What about free gifts or promotional items?

Free gifts are available while supplies last and cannot be added or adjusted after checkout. 


Why didn’t I receive a free gift with my order?

All free gifts are based on a minimum purchase amount, which is noted in the widget at the bottom of the product page. Free gifts are calculated before taxes and after any discounts.


If you had a free gift in your cart but then applied a discount code that brought your total below the threshold, the system will automatically remove it.


Why aren’t my Warrior Rewards points working?


•    You must be logged into your account
•    Points cannot be combined with discounts
•    Express checkout methods do not support rewards redemption

 



Tax Exemption


To apply tax exemption at checkout, you must submit your information before placing your order. We are unable to refund taxes after an order is placed.


Steps:

1.    Create an account
2.    Email us your Status Card (with expiry date visible)
3.    Include your shipping address if located on a reserve
4.    Wait for confirmation before placing your order
