Alanis is named after Alanis Obomsawin. Starting as a female Abenaki filmmaker in the 1960's her career is nothing short of groundbreaking. This prolific documentarian focuses her work primarily on issues discrimination and social justice, but also on the strength and resilience of Indigenous people. Alanis is a bright and electric pink.
Sonia is named after Sônia Guajajara. A pillar of Brazillian politics and a proud member of Guajajara people of the Amazon, Sônia been an organizer and leader for the indigenous people of Brazil. Sonia is a rich pink with notes of blue.
Tantoo is named after prolific Cree/Métis Tantoo Cardinal. Having over 100 film and television credits to her name Tantoo is an icon of Canadian acting. In 2015 she reached new acclaim after receiving the award of excellence from ACTRA - Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists. Tantoo is a soft pink nude.
