Devery lipstick is named after the Mohawk actress from Kahnawake in Quebec, Canada, Kawennahere Devery Jacobs. Devery has starred in many films and shows such as APTN’s Mohawk Girls, Stephen Kings Dead Zone as well as the music video for A Tribe Called Red’s song ‘Sisters’. She also got nominated at the Canadian Screen Awards for Best Actress for her performance in Rhymes for Young Ghouls.
