Our 2020 Sustainability Initiatives
If you follow our brand you know whole-heartedly, we are working really hard to make big changes in the way develop and sell products. Our first goal has been to sustainable Indigenous communities by empowering the youth with representation and by addressing unequal education issues.
Sustainability focuses on meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. The concept of sustainability is composed of three pillars: economic, environmental, and social—also known informally as profits, planet, and people.
Our 'Greener' Goals for 2020 through 2023
- Eliminating single-use plastic by 2023.
- Refill options by 2023.
- Biodegradable packaging and compostable packaging all by 2023.
- All raw ingredients from plant or bio-based sources by 2023.
- Cultural sustainability hiring Indigenous people, using Indigenous languages and training and development programs for all employees as well as our planned Indigenous Youth Scholarship Fund.
